With its new licensing and promotions unit up and running, Rawlings’ parent company K2 Inc. is moving forward with new branding deals involving the Fenton-based sporting goods manufacturer. Two sports energy drinks carrying the Rawlings name and logo are on the market after a successful test run earlier this year. EX2, a pre-workout creatine energy drink, and Drench, a post-workout rehydration drink, are being manufactured by Quantum Nutritional LLC and sold in about 5000 retail locations, primarily convenience stores.
